This is a story about a young boy and how he learned the lesson of obedience.
One day, the boy meet a pretty young girl in a party. Young boy fell in love with the Pretty young girl. Call it love at first sight, or somewhat cheesy, or infatuation, but Young boy immediately fall in love with the Pretty girl. After the party, Young boy ask Pretty girl if he can walk her to her house and get her number. Pretty Lady obliged, since she thinks there's nothing wrong about it, in fact she thinks it's very polite of the young boy to bring her to her house.
After the party, Young boy send messages to Pretty girl. Then they became good friends in which Young Boy solidify her "love" to Pretty Girl. Pretty Girl was happy when he's with Young Boy. One day, young boy ask his older brother what he thinks about Pretty Girl, "Kuya, i think she's the one i've been looking for" to which older brother reply "Tol, i think you should evaluate your feelings, you cannot say that you love her just like that, you still have some issues about yourself and jumping to a relationship will even make your life complicated. I suggest you take time to think on what you feel, enjoy your friendship first, include your feelings and include her on your prayer, be discreet on what you feel, and most of all don't fall in love with the "love" idea.
After hearing this, young boy was outraged, "how can my older brother, my supposedly bestfriend, tries to break my feelings with her", the boy exclaimed. He was very confused both by the way that he feels and what his older brother had said.
Sad and angry, he still obeyed what his older brother had said. He thinks over and over on how he feels with the pretty lady. After days of contemplating and praying on his feelings he finally succumbed to the idea that his feeling was just an infatuation. It was just an object of extravagant short-lived passion with the Pretty Girl. Relieved, he explain to Pretty Girl about what he feels, and to his suprise Pretty Girl was happy with that idea, that he finally realized on what his real intention to her.
Young Boy thanked his Older Brother for his advice to which his kuya replied 'hey, that's what i'm here for". Young boy and pretty Girl became the best of friends from then on, and even attended each others wedding. And they did live happily ever after, with different spouses of course.
