Asakusa Samba Festival 2014!

The Brazilians are back in Asakusa!!

Daddie hates August. That's a fact. He think it's the dullest month of the year (next is July). Nothing big nor holiday happens daw. Another factor is that according to Chinese tradition August is the "ghost month" daw.

Imagine, a 30-something non Chinese guy believes in ghost month. Crazy right? (thank god there is no ghost month in polar bear world).

Well lo and behold, his perception change last year when he was sent to exile to work in Japan. His good friend Olivia (who is the only Chinita in the world that is morena) told him that August is the festivities month of Japan. Two things to watch in August is the Sumida fireworks and Samba festival which are both held in Asakusa, Tokyo.

And that's the start of daddies' love for sexy anything Brazilians!

Don't rain on my parade

Daddie and his friends arrive at past 13:00 on a rainy Asakusa. A little late though and it's very hard to get a good view. Coincidence or not, he again stays on the same location where he stays last year. Looks who's mapamahiin now!? =P

But when the parade starts, all the tiredness and pangs of hunger went away. Bikini girls really do take Daddie's breath away. #landi.com.ph

Best bra ever! LoL!

Samba butterfly

Of course the parade will never be complete without the marching band. They are the heart of the parade. They give a more "festive" atmosphere in the parade.

And then the Brazilians came....

Oh, here's the name of the group by the way..cute parrot logo =D.

Besides the Samba girls, there are costumed who are part of the parade. If only the costumes are more  polar inspired I'm sure they will win.......... #biasedbear

.........But Daddie doesn't mind a Brazilians samba dancers only. LoL!!

One group's theme is Indiana Jones inspired. Uhm..so OK you're I.J. Better keep the gun on a safer point. It might explode, kawawa naman si pututoy.

Daddie has some favorites. Obviously. He can't stop clicking his iPhone for this one!

Every team has their own "main girl" and her escort who bears the group's flag.

Poley is astound to the guts of the "mature" ladies who can still join the Samba Festival in bikini. Fierce!

Samba inspired Christmas Tree (or vice versa)

Thank god they use feathers and not fur..or else!!!

The crowds starts to converge in Asakusa as early as 11:00 based on Daddie's experience last year, but this year since they we're late they Daddie didn't get the front seat area. Thank god zoom lens was invented and available in iPhone =P

The girl "bouncer" was all over the dancers, hence the photobombed peg.

Another Christmas inspired contingent. Cute!

And the Brazilians are back!!

RAWR!!!!!!!

This is the funniest contingent, by ASAHI BEER, they have drunk men in their parade and bib boobs and beers and pulutan. They are hilarious and creative. Good job Asahi!! (Sorry but Daddie still love Corona beer).

Check the girl in the float, she is ALMOST NAKED with her clothes. As in!!!

Daddie got bored and tires by 4PM, hence the #selfie pic. LoL!

Even the special guest are tired nadin hahaha!

Daddie's friend transferred location and was about to leave but when we cross the intersection we found ourselves in the starting point of the parade. And the best 3 teams was about to roll on! SWERTE!!

The western girl is pretty. I think Daddie  like her =P
#landimuch

According to the owner of Japan Today Facebook account, these group's theme is Camera, hence the camera yielding samba girls. Sayang Daddie didn't get his picture. Piniktyuran pa naman sha!

And Mr. Barbell here show-off his strength. #ikawnakuya

Happy participants =D

It was a fun event, I just hope Daddie would bring me next time naman! Goodluck tho he's coming home on February! Hahaha!

See you again next time Asakusa Samba Festival!
